At least three people were killed and four others injured, including a two year old, in a shooting at the Bite of Seattle food festival on Sunday around 6 p.m. The festival was taking place at the Seattle Center, which is also home to the Space Needle. Two people were pronounced dead at the scene, while another died after being rushed to a local hospital, according to the New York Post. Gunshot injuries included the arm, abdomen, and leg.

Police believe two individuals were firing at each other, according to Fox News and Newsweek. Authorities have arrested one suspect and are searching for another. Assistant Seattle Police Chief Tyrone Davis said investigators believe the two were shooting at each other. Witnesses described chaos as thousands of attendees fled the area. One witness told the Seattle Times that crowds of people began trampling over each other while fleeing the gunfire.

A TikTok user known as Leebo posted a video on Saturday claiming there was no pat down or bag checks before walking into the festival grounds and no security walking around. Around 350,000 people attend the three day festival, which has taken place in Seattle since 1982, according to the New York Post.
