The story

Creative Assembly and SEGA announced that Total War: Warhammer 3's Lords of the End Times DLC will launch on September 24, 2026. The expansion is the largest in the series' 10-year history and adds four new Legendary Lords: Nagash, Supreme Lord of the Undead, who seeks to drain the world of life and ascend to godhood; Boris Todbringer, Elector Count of Middenland, fighting to rekindle the flame of Ulric in defense of the Empire; the Glottkin, spreading Nurgle's repulsive gardens across the land; and Thanquol, orchestrating diabolical schemes through his cunning master plans.

Each Legendary Lord comes with new units including the Khemric Titan, a massive magically animated scarab-like construct, the Verminlords, daemonic manifestations of the Great Horned Rat, Putrid Blight Kings, a rotting elite brotherhood infested with daemonflies, and the Celestial Hurricanum, a magical war altar infused with the eight winds of magic. In a series first, purchasing any Lords of the End Times DLC, whether as a bundle or individually, grants access to the massive Immortal Empires campaign without requiring ownership of any Total War: Warhammer game.

On Steam, each Legendary Lord pack costs $8.99, making the full set $35.96 if bought separately. Buying the complete bundle drops that to $30.56 thanks to an automatic 15 percent discount. A major free update launches alongside the DLC, adding Vampire Queen Neferata as a Legendary Lord, reworking the Vampire Counts faction and Archaon the Everchosen, introducing new End Game Scenarios, and refreshing victory conditions for every legacy Legendary Lord.
