Kaiko Raises $110 Million in Funding Led by S&P Global

The story
Kaiko, a crypto data provider founded in France in 2014, extended its Series B funding round to $110 million with an investment led by S&P Global. The round included BNP Paribas, Bpifrance, Broadridge, Canton Foundation, Coinbase Ventures, DRW Venture Capital, Nasdaq Ventures, Royal Bank of Canada, Stellar, and Susquehanna Private Equity Investments. Existing investors Anthemis, Point Nine, and Revaia also participated.
Kaiko announced its Series B in May 2022, when it raised $53 million. A year earlier, the firm closed a $24 million Series A funding round led by Anthemis and Underscore VC. The company, now based in New York, provides market data, analytics, and indices covering more than 150 exchanges and blockchain protocols.
The investment comes as Wall Street accelerates its push to issue and transfer assets using blockchain technology, creating demand for data providers that can price and manage assets on a 24/7 basis. Kaiko said it will use the funds to strengthen its data infrastructure and expand products to support the growth of round the clock digital markets. S&P Dow Jones Indices and Kaiko launched the S&P Kaiko Digital Asset Indices on September 1, 2026.
